2001-08-30 | fix some const warnings | Federico G. Schwindt
2001-08-26 | Change the second arg to pw_mkdb() from a boolean flag to a set of | Todd C. Miller
bit flags ORed together. Currently the only flags defined are _PASSWORD_SECUREONLY and _PASSWORD_OMITV7 but this is enough to cause pw_mkdb() to run pwd_mkdb with the options we want. With this change we no longer generate the old V7 passwd file when only the extra fields in master.passwd (or the encrypted password) have changed. There are other programs that could probably use the _PASSWORD_OMITV7 flag; they will be converted at a future date.
2001-08-07 | remove redundant __noreturn__ attributes now that __dead is sane for modern gcc | Todd C. Miller
2001-08-06 | add getrrsetbyname(3) - API to retrieve arbitrary DNS records | Jakob Schlyter
2001-07-31 | add support for EDNS0 extended flag DNSSEC OK (aka DO). ok deraadt@ | Jakob Schlyter
2001-07-31 | we talked about libsectok having an include target a couple of times.... | Theo de Raadt
2001-07-25 | EDNS0 RFC ref typo. ok deraadt@ | Jakob Schlyter
2001-07-19 | typo in comment | Marc Espie
2001-07-19 | Expose protos for _{err,warn}{,x} regardless of __indr_reference being | Todd C. Miller
defined since in the notdef __indr_reference case they are still present, just as real functions. Fixes some alpha warnings.
2001-07-15 | Give login_cap_t a struct name so we can use forward declarations. | Todd C. Miller
2001-07-11 | remove mips leftovers; ok brad | Peter Valchev
2001-06-30 | Default login style is now krb4-or-pwd, not krb-or-pwd. | Todd C. Miller
2001-06-27 | Why was a very large chunk of code commited to the source tree without | Theo de Raadt
checking if a make build of the entire system still works? How many other parts of the tree are now not going to build? All development has not stopped until this is fixed.
2001-06-26 | Install kerberosV includefiles | Hans Insulander
2001-06-18 | Add new cgetusedb() function to toggle reading of .db files in getcap(3). | Todd C. Miller
Needed for cap_mkdb to really DRT when given several input files or an output file with a different name from the input file. cvs: ----------------------------------------------------------------------
2001-06-13 | Simplify. | Artur Grabowski
2001-06-11 | support EDNS0 (RFC2671) buffer size notification on DNS queries. | Jun-ichiro itojun Hagino
"options edns0" in /etc/resolv.conf will enable the behavior. no behavior change if you don't have the line. see resolv.conf(5) for more details. EDNS0 is useful for avoiding TCP DNS queries/replies on larger DNS responses. also, draft-ietf-dnsext-message-size-* plans to mandate EDNS0 support for DNS clients that support IPv6 transport.
2001-06-08 | oops. | Artur Grabowski

2001-05-31 | If DT_PROCNUM is not defined, assume it's 0 | Artur Grabowski
2001-05-31 | correct prototype for dlerror. | Artur Grabowski
2001-05-31 | Install link.h and dlfcn.h on alpha. | Artur Grabowski
2001-05-26 | Change protection of struct exception back from #ifdef __LIBM_PRIVATE | Todd C. Miller
to #ifndef __cplusplus. It turns out there is code outside of libm that wants to use this. I suppose that's why it is in math.h instead of math_private.h ;-)
2001-05-15 | Make path length variables size_t. This fixes the problem where | Todd C. Miller
things like rm can't remove files with ridiculously long path names that were created by some script kiddie trying in vain to exploit something. Previously, the length was effectively constrained to USHRT_MAX due to one of the internal structs. Also, nuke FTS_CHDIRROOT since it never worked correctly and hasn't been documented for a long time.
2001-05-14 | Speed-up: | Marc Espie
- remove extra subshells; - use exec on terminal commands, avoiding dangling shells that don't control anything. More correct: - use && some more; - remove `-' in front of includes, so that failures WILL fail... Okay millert@, deraadt@
2001-03-18 | Build gnu/lib/libreadline and use it instead of the one currently | Todd C. Miller
in the binutils dir. | |||
2001-03-18 | GLOB_LIMIT changes from christos | Theo de Raadt
2001-03-09 | Move nanosleep() proto to from sys/time.h to time.h where it belongs. | Todd C. Miller
Problem noted by Jean-Baptiste Marchand
2001-03-03 | plug many memory leaks | Theo de Raadt
2001-03-02 | Add ohash_* functions to libc. | Marc Espie
Ok'd deraadt@, millert@
2001-02-21 | change ai_addrlen to socklen_t. now it conforms to | Jun-ichiro itojun Hagino
draft-ietf-ipngwg-rfc2553bis-03.txt. backward compatibility concern: - should be safe to change signed to unsigned, as we never return negative value. - sizeof(int) is 4 for all archs, so there's no size change with socklen_t (= u_int32_t) commented by deraadt.
2001-02-13 | _PW_NAME_LEN doesn't include the NUL, MAXLOGNAME does. | Paul Janzen
2001-01-31 | move utmp to large format, usernames to 32 chars; downsj | Theo de Raadt
2001-01-29 | Include <nl_types.h>. Conforms to SUSv2, mirrors NetBSD. ok deraadt@ | Christian Weisgerber
2001-01-28 | $OpenBSD$ | Niklas Hallqvist
2001-01-24 | indent | Aaron Campbell

2000-11-21 | Add references to new files. | Todd C. Miller
2000-11-21 | BSD authentication routines from BSDI. Presently this is not used but | Todd C. Miller
the login_* helper programs and other support will be committed in the near future.
2000-11-21 | Add pw_dup(3), a function to copy 'struct passwd'. It is allocated as | Todd C. Miller
a single chunk with the strings pointing elsewhere in the buffer so a simple free() of the struct passwd * is all that is needed to decallocate. |
