2004-02-10 | Add the ptm device to pty(4). By opening /dev/ptm and using the PTMGET | Todd C. Miller
ioctl(2), an unprivileged process may allocate a pty and have its owner and mode set appropriately. This means that programs such as xterm and screen no longer need to be setuid. Programs using the openpty() function require zero changes and will "just work". Designed by beck@ and deraadt@; changes by beck@ with cleanup (and a rewrite of the vnode bits) by art@ and tweaks/bugfixes by me. Tested by many.
2004-02-10 | CURBRK -> __curbrk changes from mickey, minbrk addition by me, ok mickey@ | Dale Rahn

2004-02-08 | add libm parts for amd64; much from netbsd, integration by mickey. | Theo de Raadt
Instead of mixing the i387 & xmm register components, we decide to explicitly seperate them. libm is already confusing enough as it is, thank you very much
2004-02-08 | 16 byte align for performance, as on other architectures | Theo de Raadt
2004-02-08 | from freebsd, helps awk too: | Theo de Raadt
Fix fabs(). This commit brought to you by the letter 'l'. (fstp stores a mem32 value, fstpl stores a mem64 value)
2004-02-08 | from freebsd (and appears to make our awk work better) | Theo de Raadt
Tidy up modf.S and make it actually work. It wasn't extracting the value out of ST(0) before copying it to %xmm0. Also remove bogus stack frame and work in the red zone.

2004-02-04 | Traditionally, getopt(3) has treated "--foo" the same as "--". However, | Todd C. Miller
this can cause confusion when a user tries to use a long option with a program that only supports short options. Furthermore, it appears to be in violation of POSIX, which states that "--" shall indicate the end of argument processing, not any string that begins with "--". OK otto@ and closes PR 3666.
2004-02-04 | H comes before J; | Jason McIntyre
2004-02-03 | OK, this time the AES soft keys work with ssh and such. I spent over 3 | Theo de Raadt
hours learning that OpenSSL's internal functions for AES extended keys generate screwy byte order swapped data..
2004-02-03 | oops, software key gen bug | Theo de Raadt
2004-02-03 | Switch to using software generated extended keys (because the cpu cannot | Theo de Raadt
yet generate 192 & 256 bit keys). Ensure that 192 and 256 are in the nids table. This also accelerates performance for 128 a tiny bit: type 16 bytes 64 bytes 256 bytes 1024 bytes 8192 bytes aes-128-cbc 34921.48k 129617.82k 362059.93k 623649.81k 790397.77k aes-192-cbc 26227.43k 99215.33k 283242.84k 509881.15k 665323.22k aes-256-cbc 26133.22k 97458.06k 265990.84k 457824.69k 579835.09k
