2005-03-06correct snprintf return value checks, where the wrong ptrMoritz Jodeit
was used for calculating the buffer size. ok tedu@ cloder@
2005-03-06Always remember to check snprintf return value for -1.Chad Loder
OK hshoexer, jsg, otto, krw
2005-03-03Make sure we check snprintf return value for failure or truncation beforeChad Loder
using it. Make uu_lock_txfr work by properly checking return value from put_pid(). Fix an FD leak on the lockfile in an error path (from FreeBSD with modifications). OK millert@, input from otto@ and Bruno Rohee.

2005-02-16Stash the environment pointer we get from realloc() instead of justTodd C. Miller
setting a flag. That way when we are called again we can be sure to realloc() the right thing, regardless of the current value of environ. When the stashed value != environ (or when we are called for the first time), copy the existing entries from environ and set environ to the new value. OK deraadt@, beck@, djm@

2005-02-01Replace broken frexp() with a working one from FreeBSD. There'sTodd C. Miller
no need to have a copy for each platform with ieee floating point, only vax needs a special version (which probably has similar bugs). OK and with help from otto@

2005-01-05Fix handling of memory allocation. Both the initial value of eupOtto Moerbeek
and the new value of bup after realloc() were bogus. This bug has been here since the net.2 days. Additionally, make the initial size of the malloc'ed pieces of mem more sane and kill a redundant test before free(). getcwd(3) is now able to return really long paths.
