- Eliminate some unnecessary cpu/mmu checks, based on what CPUs
the kernel was compiled for.
- Add some comments about possible further optimization.

Add enough glue to the aux attach structure to do so, and teach all the
device drivers how to set it.
This fixes the last ITE panic I know of...
