From a9ed0385d7b5ffc97d72dc799dc5cc9a425192a0 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: "Todd C. Miller" Date: Sun, 1 Mar 2009 13:35:47 +0000 Subject: New mktemp(3) based on the one from portable mktemp(1). Now includes digits (in addition to letters) in the random file name. Instead of looping forever, mktemp(3) will terminate when it has tried 2 * N^62 times where N is the number of X's. This is effectively forever for lots of X's. --- lib/libc/stdio/mktemp.c | 177 ++++++++++++++++++++++++------------------------ 1 file changed, 88 insertions(+), 89 deletions(-) (limited to 'lib/libc/stdio/mktemp.c') diff --git a/lib/libc/stdio/mktemp.c b/lib/libc/stdio/mktemp.c index dcc50b7f0f9..59a0a5b5c04 100644 --- a/lib/libc/stdio/mktemp.c +++ b/lib/libc/stdio/mktemp.c @@ -1,65 +1,94 @@ -/* $OpenBSD: mktemp.c,v 1.25 2009/02/17 22:53:43 deraadt Exp $ */ +/* $OpenBSD: mktemp.c,v 1.26 2009/03/01 13:35:46 millert Exp $ */ /* - * Copyright (c) 1987, 1993 - * The Regents of the University of California.
