From 3a556e44475cb8815c083560b5088739d989ea7e Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Damien Bergamini Date: Mon, 8 Jan 2007 19:04:54 +0000 Subject: Remove a note about MIMO and 802.11n Though some adapters use multiple antennas and radio chips to extend the range/coverage and throughput, they won't support the upcoming IEEE 802.11n standard since the radio doesn't support 40MHz channels. Only RT2800 will support 802.11n. --- share/man/man4/ral.4 | 5 ++--- share/man/man4/rum.4 | 3 +-- 2 files changed, 3 insertions(+), 5 deletions(-) (limited to 'share/man') diff --git a/share/man/man4/ral.4 b/share/man/man4/ral.4 index cb94dc8750f..9a328d65a47 100644 --- a/share/man/man4/ral.4 +++ b/share/man/man4/ral.4 @@ -1,6 +1,6 @@ -.\" $OpenBSD: ral.4,v 1.66 2006/12/07 23:33:56 jmc Exp $ +.\" $OpenBSD: ral.4,v 1.67 2007/01/08 19:04:53 damien Exp $ .\" -.\" Copyright (c) 2005, 2006 +.\" Copyright (c) 2005-2007 .\" Damien Bergamini .\" .\" Permission to use, copy, modify, and distribute this software for any @@ -53,7 +53,6 @@ RT2529 radio transceiver.
