function checks whether or not the file descriptor

is of type
.Fa fdtype .

include file.
.Sh RETURN VALUES
The
.Fn isfdtype
function returns 1 if
.Fa fd
is of type
.Fa fdtype
and 0 if it is not.
If
.Fn isfdtype
fails, a value of \-1 is returned and the global variable
.Va errno
is set to indicate the error.
